One 网曝吃瓜 employee enjoys using his vast experience in financial aid to improve services to students on campus.
Jerry Davis, associate director of financial aid, has 35 years of experience in financial aid at seven different colleges and universities, including as the system director of financial aid for the Kentucky Community & Technical College. Davis has also worked as a financial aid consultant for Ellucian Banner and helped with 18 implementations.
鈥淚 feel I still have a lot to offer in the financial aid field,鈥� Davis said.
Davis said he most enjoys providing students and parents with assistance in finding the right financial aid package to attend 网曝吃瓜.
鈥淚 enjoy analyzing data reports that will improve the services we provide in the financial aid office,鈥� Davis said. 鈥淚 love working at 网曝吃瓜. I have the best financial aid director in Russelle Keese. I believe God has me here to expand my territory and 鈥榝or such a time as this.鈥欌��
Outside of his career, Davis has been singing in a southern gospel trio for the past 12 years.
鈥淓arly on we traveled to several churches in Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee and Alabama,鈥� Davis said.
Davis has a bachelor鈥檚 in Christian education from Liberty University and a bachelor鈥檚 from the University of Southern Indiana in sociology and accounting.
鈥淵ou don鈥檛 go to college for a degree in financial aid,鈥� Davis said. 鈥淚t was a natural fit for my background in accounting and social work.鈥�
