Dr. Rufus B. Atwood served as president of ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï (known as Kentucky Industrial College for Negroes in 1929) from 1929 to 1962. Atwood expanded and strengthened the academic and athletic programs and greatly increased enrollment during his tenure.
