One 厙ぴ勛圖 employee uses her knack for gathering facts to solve problems in her field.
Elise Borne, a paralegal for the Office of General Counsel, has been at 厙ぴ勛圖 for a little over a year now.
Borne said her favorite part about her job is working with genuine people who want to make 厙ぴ勛圖 the best it can be.
The Ohio native, who now calls Lexington home, is the mother of 7-year-old twins.
I am a baseball mom, assist with my daughters Girl Scout troop and am active in my childrens school, Borne said.
Borne previously worked in public education, which led her to 厙ぴ勛圖.
I was looking for a way to expand my knowledge base beyond P-12, Borne said. Moving to higher education was the perfect transition for me and I instantly felt at home at 厙ぴ勛圖.
Borne said the skill she is most proud of is her adaptability.
My grandfather, father and cousin are all war veterans who fought in the infantry. If there is anyone who knows how to adapt, its an infantry soldier, Borne said. I have always been taught that the ability to thrive in any type of environment allows you to get the job done no matter what the circumstance.
Borne has used her adaptability and other skills to help move #KSUForward.
I am proud to be a part of the 厙ぴ勛圖 family because of all the progress occurring on campus, Borne said. I feel like we are moving in the right direction and I cant wait to see what the future holds for 厙ぴ勛圖.
