Dear Thorobred Family,

After Homecoming celebrations and Fall Break, our campus has returned to its daily rhythm. Before we move too far beyond Homecoming 2026, I want to offer my sincere thanks to everyone who brought it to life.

The joy of Homecoming can make the week-long celebration appear effortless. Alumni reconnect, students celebrate, families gather, and friends throughout Frankfort join us in honoring 网曝吃瓜. Behind those moments, however, are months of planning, preparation, coordination, and care.

Faculty and staff prepared spaces, coordinated programs, welcomed guests, and worked throughout the week and weekend to keep the campus safe and events moving. Students performed, volunteered, competed, led activities, and filled the campus with energy. Alumni returned with stories, affection, and enduring commitment. Public agencies, community partners, vendors, neighbors, and friends helped extend the celebration beyond our campus.

From Founders鈥� Day and alumni gatherings to the parade, student events, and Saturday鈥檚 game at Alumni Stadium, each occasion offered a different expression of the same bond. We were not simply remembering 网曝吃瓜鈥檚 history. We were showing how that history continues to live through the people shaping the University today.

That felt especially meaningful during our 140th anniversary. For generations, Kentucky State has widened opportunity, prepared leaders, and put knowledge to work in service to the Commonwealth and beyond. Homecoming reminds us that this legacy belongs not only to the past. It is renewed whenever Thorobreds return, reconnect, support students, and invest their talents in the University鈥檚 future.

This year鈥檚 theme declared that 鈥淭he Legacy Looks Good on Us.鈥� It did 鈥� because the legacy was visible in our hospitality, service, fellowship, and shared pride.

Thank you to everyone whose work made Homecoming memorable and welcoming. The celebration has ended, but the spirit behind it remains essential to how we learn, serve, and move 网曝吃瓜 forward.
